Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is the only UK lung cancer charity.
But what does that actually mean?

It means our attention is solely on lung cancer.

All our research projects are completely focused on the early detection of

lung cancer or to improve the experience of people with lung cancer.

Every person we support has lung cancer or has a loved one with lung cancer.

Our literature is specifi cally about lung cancer – treatments for lung cancer,
managing lung cancer symptoms, travelling with lung cancer.

Our support groups are just for people affected by lung cancer, either people
who have lung cancer or the family of someone with lung cancer.

The nurses on our helpline are lung cancer nurse specialists. The questions

they are asked and the answers they provide are all about lung cancer.
Because lung cancer is different.

Lung cancer isn’t the priority it should be. It doesn’t get the level of attention
it should. It doesn’t get a proportional amount of research funding. No other
people are judged the way people with lung cancer are judged. Not enough

people talk about lung cancer.

At Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, lung cancer is our only priority. It
has our full attention. All the money we spend on research goes completely

on lung cancer. We only support, never judge people with lung cancer.

We are the voice for people with lung cancer.

If you have lung cancer. If you had lung cancer. If your loved one has been
diagnosed with lung cancer. Or if you have lost your loved one to lung cancer.
